The Galaxy Is Running

Eclipse, the main galaxy, is running. Character creation, movement, combat, and basic crafting are all functional. Work toward a 64-bit server core is underway as part of the ongoing engine work. Current work is focused on combat balance, fixing legacy exploits that never got patched in the original, and expanding the quest content layer. A separate test environment runs alongside Eclipse for validating changes before they go live. If you want to follow development in detail, the roadmap on the site is kept up to date.
