On a Mac? Crosswire (macOS)is a separate project for running Windows games on Mac; it is still in development, so there is no Mac build of SWG Remastered yet.
Getting started
Quick start

Download the launcher
Grab the Windows installer from the download button above.

Run the installer
Run SWGRemasteredSetup.exe and follow the on-screen prompts. The launcher installs to Program Files by default.

Log in to your account
Open the launcher and sign in with your swgremastered.com account. Create one at swgremastered.com/register if you have not already.

Download the game files
The launcher checks for missing or outdated files and downloads them automatically. This takes a few minutes the first time.

Play
Hit Launch from the launcher. Pick a planet, create a character, and log in.

Is this free?
Yes, completely free to play. No subscription, no pay-to-win.
Is this legal?
We operate as a fan project. SOE/NCSoft did not re-release SWG officially after the 2011 shutdown. We are not affiliated with Lucasfilm, Disney, or EA.
Will my progress carry over from other emulators?
No. Characters start fresh on Eclipse. There is no shared database with any other SWG server.
